We take great pride in what we do. One of our core values is to provide appropriate support and quality services to the individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. We recognize all sorts of limitations they are faced with. However, each individual has some capacity for self-advocacy and decision-making, and we promote that at all times. We are committed to the training of all our personnel. To that end, we provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills, which enable them to have a personal touch and offer the highest quality care in a safest way possible. Our employees go through an intensive training tailored to the needs of the individuals we serve. They participate in several in-service lessons and attend all the New York State Office For People With Developmental Disabilities OPWDD mandated trainings. The training allows our staff members to analyze the likes and dislikes of each individual to develop, implement and maintain a person-centered plan that is meaningful to a person's life.
