The Agency's objective is to provide appropriate Supports and Services to individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages and their families. MODEST begins with a belief that each person has the potential for growth and personal development regardless of disability at any age. Further, we believe that each person is entitled to a meaningful life enabling him/her to pursue his/her goals. In light of this, we believe that each person should have a continuous circle of natural support and services to pursue his/her goals and future aspirations. Each person should live in the most integrated community-based settings which uphold the right of each person and provides a person centered opportunities for an individual and/or on a group basis. From time to time these reality-based natural supports and services might require a review and refinement as each person's needs and goals change to reflect their current life circumstances. |
