Communication at Work
Written by Alexandra Okhotina
June 2011
Communication is an important part of society and humankind. Communication is letting you share your thoughts, emotions, feelings, beliefs, views, ideas, goals in life, your dreams, wishes and everything you want with people. When you are at work, you can’t share everything you want because you’re supposed to avoid certain topics during communication at work. There’s lots of stuff to avoid talking about when at work, you shouldn’t talk about how your colleagues are behaving at work. You can’t discuss how much time you spend on the facebook. You’re supposed to follow the golden rule of success at work: Behave yourself and do whatever your boss tells you to do first, do what you want to do second, write private (bad, negative) emotions and feelings about anything and everything inside your diary, to make yourself feel better. At work, you should talk about life like: music, travels, non –religious / politics books, about holidays, interesting facts from life, science, medicine, about nature.

Communication, when you have private time. On your free time when you are on the street you can talk and communicate with your friends about everything you want, even including the topics, which are not permitted at work like: religion, politics, life, religious/ politics books. Share private thoughts, emotions, feelings about work, boss, staff, director, how colleagues behave themselves; private religious/ political stories, political view, talk about any way to have fun, rest, activates, entertainment, whine and complain on rules of yours work and work itself; share life stories on the neutral territory like café, street, & library, etc. You are free to express yourself anyway you want, in any area you want in your unique special way. I like this way better.

My Unforgettable Moment
Written by Jeanne DePierro
February 2011
Two years ago on my sister’s birthday (January 22), she donated her kidney to me. While she had laser surgery, I had regular surgery. I kept saying to myself, "I'm not afraid", probably thousands of times. When we got wheeled into the operating room, all I could say was, "Oh my God!" When I heard the word "scalpel", I knew I was in for it. When a nurse let me sniff the gas mask, I couldn’t tell if it smelled like cherries or chocolate. Three breaths into the gas mask and three "I’m not afraid" later, poof! I had fallen fast asleep.

When my eyes opened, the first words I said were, "What just happened?" And my surgeon, Dr. Kapur, said, "It’s over! You survived it!" And I was like, "Really? You mean I’m still here?" And I thanked God for it. I told my relatives everything and they were so proud of me. My sister went home on a Saturday and I went home two days later. Looking back on this life-saving experience, I feel so joyous physically, mentally and spiritually, and every day, I thank God for giving me this lifetime miracle, and I will cherish it for the rest of my life. I also am very thankful and grateful for my wonderful sister for her ultimate gift of donation and her love.

Hobbies

Some of my favorite hobbies are bowling, video games and drawing. Although bowling is my favorite, I like to draw and play video games as well. I like bowling because it is a fun game to play. Bowling could be played in two ways;
First, it can be played on a team. Second, it can be played solo. But I like to play on a team. I like winning because I like to have a high score. I would like to be better in bowling. I like to play bowling with my big brother, Timmy. Sometimes I play against Timmy, sometimes I play on a team with him. The game that I like to play is RPG (Role playing games) because I like the way I tell the story. I like to play video games with my sister sometimes.

Sometimes I play the team with Stephanie, sometimes I play solo with my sister. I like to play facebook.com online games. I like to play Wii games with my sister because it’s more fun to play with someone. I like the video games because they make me feel relaxed and fun. I like to draw because I like the way it expresses my feeling. I like things that I can do such as: creating my own characters, preaching my own story, and making my own graphics on the computer. I like the drawing to make things look better. I like the way I draw; by looking at the picture and memorize how it looks.
