DAY HABILITATION SUPPORT & SERVICES
Provides a range of meaningful experiences designed to meet individual choices and needs in community settings. These experiences might include purchasing, volunteering, or recreational activities in the community. Day habilitation support and services may stand alone with no connection to prevocational and supported employment services. In other instances, however, day habilitation support and services may supplement, serve as a transitional to and/or enhance prevocational skills. Day habilitation support and services should be delivered primarily in a location that is not the individual’s residence; and in the most integrated setting.
